Leaders are Open To New Ideas
One of the fantastic things that the Internet has brought to our lives is the possibility to access people from all over the world without leaving our homes, villages, cities or countries (you name it). But, most important, you can learn about their ways of seeing the world, and the ideas behind them. And you can also share.
A few days ago, on march 13th, 2009 the WWW celebrated its 20th anniversary. Who could have predicted the big impact in all our lives? Some months ago, I discovered one of the most fantastic places in the WWW. You probably have heard about it before, if you didn’t then here is: Ted.com. You will have access to presentations made by the most prominent and important people in the world today. It’s a place you should visit. You won’t regret it.
Remember, leaders are open to new ideas, you don’t need to embrace them. But you certainly should be aware of what others are thinking. In this particular case, most of the people that gives these talks have many years of experience in their fields, so I guess they’re worth hearing.
