The highest compliment leaders can recieve is the one that is given by the people who work for them .
Love and respect do not automatically accompany a position of leadership .They must be earned .

In most parts of the world, people fear to be of service to others because of the numerous roles and responsibilities involved. Most want to sit back and enjoy ‘Positions\ rather than Service, that is why there are leadership challenges. Folks there is more to service than sitting and waiting for the ‘fat’ pay cheque. ACTIONS are LOUDER than Words. Get on your feet and move the World NOW!!!

Exactly right. That’s been my issue with trait theories of leadership. It’s not who you are, it’s what you DO.
