I’ve come across this site the other day and a few seconds later I knew that something interesting was here. It’s a navy’s man way of seeing leadership. It has 46 advices about “Navy life” and as the author says “there should be something here for any serviceman or woman, perhaps even for civilians”. A few advices I liked are:
- Attack problems and situations, not people.
- Learn to trust your instincts. If something doesn’t feel quite right, it probably isn’t.
- Be direct, forthright, precise, and concise. Don’t equivocate, dissemble, or obfuscate. Never lie. If you’re not sure, say so. Don’t be afraid not to know something.
I’m sure you’ll find something useful here too.
My Call: Great List.
My Advice: Pick the advices you find more useful and strive to follow them.
