Leadership Skill – Learning Styles’ Strenghts and Weaknesses

In a previous post I’ve talked about the four Learning Styles. The next chart presents the strengths and weaknesses of each learning style.

If you take into account the strengths and weaknesses of each of the four Learning Styles you will notice that every situation is a call for a particular learning style, and you have to adapt yourself to use the proper learning style to get the most out of that situation.

Leaders know how they learn, great leaders know how their team learns, in that way they give the information in the correct form and shape, in order to get the message through.

LEADERSHIP ACTIONS

1. Read again “Leadership Skill – Identify Your Learning Style” and identify your preferred learning style.
2. Learn the strengths and weaknesses of your preferred learning style.
3. Try to use your second preferred learning style along with your first style, in order to see how difficult for you is to try new things. The main goal of this exercise is to expand your comfort zone. (We’ll talk about that later).
4. Remember, Be Alert, Be A Leader :)
